This website is maintained by Chuck Gysi, N2DUP, a longtime hobby radio author. He currently writes for National Communications and Popular Communications magazines and his byline has appeared in almost every hobby radio publication, including CQ Amateur Radio, 73 Magazine, QST, Monitoring Times, Radio! and more. He’s a former editor of the RCMA Journal, was trunking editor for Police Call and edited a series of Scanner Master directories for the Greater Philadelphia area from 1983 through 1996. He also maintains a website at http://www.scanning1.com and is a life member of the American Radio Relay League and a member of the Quarter Century Wireless Association. Chuck is a long-time journalist who now is working as a book editor.
This site was created to provide radio tips on a regular basis to radio hobbyists, especially scanner listeners, CB radio operators, radio hobbyists, GMRS/FRS/MURS radio users and more.
