This website is maintained by Chuck Gysi, N2DUP, a longtime hobby radio author. He has served as the editor and publisher of National Communications Magazine since 2014 and began writing for NatCom in 1996. His byline has appeared in almost every hobby radio publication, including Popular Communications, CQ Amateur Radio, 73 Magazine, QST, Monitoring Times, Radio! and more. He’s a former editor of the RCMA Journal, was trunking editor for Police Call and edited a series of Scanner Master directories for the Greater Philadelphia area from 1983 through 1996. He also maintains a website at scanning1.com and is a life member of the American Radio Relay League and a member of the Quarter Century Wireless Association. Chuck is a long-time journalist.
